June 30, 2014- BR Report WAPDA has expedited the work on constructing small dams to irrigate over 130,000 acres of land in various areas of the country, said an official of Water and Power Development Authority. November 02, 2012: United State Agency for International Development (USAID) would provide 93 million dollars for construction of Kurram Tangi dam in North Waziristan Agency, costing Rs 59.561 billion.
