November 07, 2012: About 1000 farmers on Tuesday organised a big rally against the low prices of their produce and the high power tariff for the agricultural sector under the auspices of the Pakistan Farmers Alliance. EU Preference Scheme: Pakistan to make 31.4 percent net gain in textile export

October 18, 2012: Pakistan will make a net gain of 31.4 percent in export of textiles under the EU Autonomous Preference Scheme. Value of exports for 2011 was US $1709 million and under the EU Preference Scheme, the exports are estimated to rise to US $2246 million yielding in net increase of 537 million.
