Pakistan's wheat output in likely to exceed 24.5 million tons during the current Rabi crop season, officials said. MUMBAI, Oct 22, 2012: The production of major crops, both food and non-food, is likely to fall by about 2.3 per cent in 2012-13 as sowing has remained slow, as per economic think tank Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).
“Production of major crops is projected to decline in 2012-13. A fall in output of both food and non-food crops is expected to dip by 2.3 per cent,” CMIE said in its monthly report.
