Major crop output likely to slip by 2.3% in FY13: CMIE

MUMBAI, Oct 22, 2012: The production of major crops, both food and non-food, is likely to fall by about 2.3 per cent in 2012-13 as sowing has remained slow, as per economic think tank Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). “Production of major crops is projected to decline in 2012-13.
