India’s October 1-December 15 sugar output up

December 18, 2014 - Reuters Indian sugar mills produced 4.2 million tonnes of the sweetener between October 1 and December 15, about 47 percent higher year-on-year as more mills are operational this year, a producers' body said on Wednesday. This year 442 mills in the country started crushing by December 15, compared with 426 last year, the Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) said in a statement. December 17, 2014 - Reuters - ICE Canadian spot canola futures rose Monday on crusher buying and weakness in the Canadian dollar, which makes the oilseed more attractive on the world market, traders said.
