The News Education Expo 2014 begins today

LAHORE: A two-day mega education show “The News Education Expo 2014,” being organised by Jang Media Group, is starting at a local hotel here today (Monday).

Over the years, “The News Education Expo” has emerged as one of the biggest education shows in Pakistan bringing together topnotch national and international educational institutes under one roof. The event provides prospective students a wonderful platform to explore the academic opportunities available in Pakistan and abroad.

The News Education Expo 2014 is scheduled to be inaugurated by Punjab Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan. The event which will continue from 10am to 7pm, with absolutely free entry, is expected to attract thousands of students and their parents during the two days.

Over 50 national and international universities, higher educational institutes and colleges are participating in the expo, being the theme “Better Education—Prosperous Pakistan”.

The prominent among the participating institutes include the University of Lahore, Punjab Group of Colleges, USAID, ICMA Pakistan, University of Management Technology (UMT), Superior Group of Colleges, ACCA, Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Higher Education Commission (HEC), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, NISA Girls Colleges, HR Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, Go4-HR Brand, Professionals’ Academy of Commerce (PAC), Bahria University, SZABIST, KIPS, SKANS, FAST, Institute of Business & Management (UET Lahore), LEADS University, Information Technology University (ITU), United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), CFE Group of Colleges and e-Learn Punjab.
