LAHORE: Australian High Commissioner Peter Heyward said on Friday that Pakistani could use Australian expertise in agriculture and livestock-breeding.
On a visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry heading a six-member delegation of Australian companies working in the agriculture sector, Heyward said Australia’s government and private sector were ready to assist Pakistan in the two sectors, according to a press release from the LCCI.
He was talking to LCCI officials, including its president, Sohail Lashari.
Pakistan’s agriculture and livestock sectors could enhance their efficiency and growth with the help of Australian technology and advice, he added. Heyward said his country could also offer assistance to Pakistan in coalmining.
