UVAS arranges Punjab Youth Festival tug-of-war contests

LAHORE (13-02-14): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged tug-of¬-war contests in connection with the Punjab Youth Festival 2014.
Students from public and private universities of Lahore division participated in the contests. In male contests, the Punjab University (PU) Lahore won the first position, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore got 2nd position. The PU got first position and University of Lahore (UOL) 2nd position among the female contestants. Prof Dr Tahir Yaqoob gave away certificates to the winning teams.

FILMOGRAPHY CONTESTS: The UVAS also arranged short film contests as part of the Punjab Youth Festival 2014. Services Institute of Medical Sciences Lahore won the first position, Lahore College for Women University second position while King Edward Medical University stood third. MPA Saiful Malook Khokhar was chief guest on the occasion and gave away certificates to the winning teams. Total seven universities from the Lahore division participated in the competition.
