LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has got a historic mandate in the general elections and it will have to set new examples of hard work, trust and honesty during the next five years. He was talking to the members of national and provincial assembly belonging to Gujranwala division at chief minister’s office on Friday. He said that new records of public service would be set during the next five years and the PML-N would come up to the expectations of the masses. “The resolution of energy crisis is the top priority of the government,” he said. Shahbaz Sharif said that provision of speedy and cheap justice and change of thana culture would be ensured at all costs. He expressed his determination that the country would be brought out of crises and put on the road to progress. He said that patwari culture would be eliminated till 2014. He said that people have given the mandate to PML-N for eliminating corruption, energy crisis and change of patwari and thana culture.

He said that local bodies’ elections would be held soon after consultation in the party. Shahbaz Sharif said that the energy crisis being faced by the country and nation has ruined national economy, industry, agriculture, education, health and other sectors of social developments.
