Beneficiaries of wheat subsidy

THE commencement of the official wheat procurement season in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a few weeks ago has put the provincial government under pressure. Pakistan: Mango export season begins

Mango export has started in the country on Saturday with an ambitious target of 175,000 tonnes, which is 52 percent higher than the previous season’s target of 115,000 million tonnes. Export of mango this season is expected to fetch $60 million. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 KARACHI: The Rice exports from Pakistan to South Africa plunged by 85 percent to 4,500 tons in the first eleven months of the ongoing fiscal year as compared to 29,577 tons exported in the same period of last fiscal year, Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (Reap) reported on Monday. May 28, 2013 Slow business was seen on the cotton market on Monday as mills and spinners are still on the sidelines mainly because of less buying interest, dealers said.
