Talking to the farmers, the Vice-Chancellor said that the university is providing multiple services to farmers for their progress. He especially mentioned UVAS 24/7 extension service, production of mineral mixture, laboratory testing of different livestock diseases, vaccine production of HS & FMD, etc. He said that the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) of UVAS is playing its due role in developing connections with the market organizations for the uplift of livestock sector. He also offered the visitors any kind of facilitation/ service if needed from the UVAS.
The farmers also took a round of various sections/departments of the UVAS, including Pet Centre, surgery clinic, UDL, WTO Quality Operation Lab and postmortem section.
