Kharif crops 2012: PPCBL recovers Rs 1.49 billion agriculture loans

The Punjab Provincial Co-operative Bank Ltd (PPCBL) recovered Rs 1.49 billion of agriculture loans for 2012 Kharif crops till 23rd January which is 71.14 percent of the total loans, PPCBL, Registrar Co-operatives Punjab Dr Arshad Mahmood said, here on Monday. Upper Punjab canals reopen

January 29, 2013 Punjab Irrigation department has reopened its upper Punjab irrigation canals and is likely to reopen the remaining closed canals of the province by 31st January, Canal Regulator M H Siddiqui told Business Recorder on Monday.
