Flour prices increase in several cities

KARACHI: The price of flour has increased in several cities of the country. According to owners of flour mills, prices have been increased due a rise in the price of wheat.


In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the price of flour has increased by Rs5-Rs8 during the last two weeks. The price of a 20KG bag of flour increased by Rs100.

The price increase has also taken its toll on the residents of Karachi, where the price of flour has seen an Rs2 increase. In Quetta, flour was being sold at Rs36/KG which has no risen to Rs37.

According to market sources the prices are expected to increase further.
