Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP)

November 03, 2012: Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) has convened an emergent meeting of its executive committee on November 4 (Sunday) to discuss the prevailing situation of agricultural sector and devising a strategy to launch a country-wide movement to press the government for resolving the issues faced by the growers.

KBP Secretary Information Haji Muhammad Ramzan said here on Friday that the meeting would be participated by all the central vice presidents, provincial presidents and Punjab’s central, western, northern and southern chapters chiefs along with other important office-bearers.

He alleged that emergent meeting of the executive committee had been convened at a time when agriculture had reached at the brink of the destruction due to wrong policies of the government. The meeting would take important decisions to avert the possible threats to the agricultural sector due to government policies and solution to these issues.
