Tata Steel quarterly profit slumps 89 percent

August 20, 2012:  India's Tata Steel, the world's seventh-largest steelmaker, said on August 13 quarterly net profit slumped a worse-than-expected 89 percent from a year earlier due to falling demand in its key European market. August 20, 2012: All main rivers including Indus, Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej are flowing normal. According to Federal Flood Commission here on Sunday, Tarbela and Mangla Dams are at elevations of 1439.68 feet and 1169.05 feet respectively, which are 60.32 feet and 72.95 feet below their respective Maximum Conservation Levels of 1550.00 feet and 1242.00 feet.
